My life in a nutshell:
I was born and raised in Järvenpää, but I have lived one third of my life in the South of England. I went there for a year to study, but got married and stayed there. I returned to Finland and back to Järvenpää with my family because of my elderly and infirm parents. Now I live in my childhood home, where I also have my studio. As I get older, I find ceramics are taking preference in my works. This is probably due to artistic nature of my father’s side of the family.
